The client mainly deals in automotive electronic control systems, wiper systems and other parts, and provides parts, stampings and other products to many well-known corporate customers. Under the growing market demand, the client decided to upgrade its warehousing logistics to reduce warehousing costs and improve order delivery efficiency.
Project Challenges
1.The old warehouse area is limited, and the traditional floor-pile storage model is used, which cannot effectively utilize the storage space;
2.The low-efficiency and high-frequency transportation cannot respond to the increasing demand for warehousing in time, and the customer's business development is limited;
3. The company is worried about the safety of high-level storage and retrieval operations in narrow aisles. The weight of stacked auto parts is large, and if they collide with the shelves, it will endanger the safety of people and property.
Solution Advantages
The customer's new warehouse has been built. Our company conducted an on-site inspection of the customer's site. According to the warehouse height, project key requirements, the customer's current business volume and expected future storage needs, we tailored a cost-effective narrow aisle high-rise rack solution for the customer, assisted by two Man-down type three-way forklifts with a maximum load of 1.6 tons.
1. With a narrow aisle width of only 1750mm, 12 rows of 7.5m high shelves are arranged in the new warehouse, and the shelf depth is more than 60 meters. Ultra-high storage capacity is developed with low investment, making full use of every inch of warehouse space and reserving sufficient storage space for subsequent business development.
2. The Man-down type three-way forklift has a fast travel speed, a maximum load of 1.6 tons, strong high-altitude load capacity, and powerful transfer and high-level storage and retrieval capabilities, and can quickly complete the transportation of large quantities of spare parts;
The fork head can rotate 180 ° to realize flexible storage and retrieval of goods on both sides of the aisle, eliminating the need for frequent vehicle changes, shortening the time required for goods to enter and exit the warehouse, and further improving order delivery efficiency.
3.The ground-mounted magnetic strip assists driving, and the driver does not need to control the left and right directions. The three-way vehicle can also drive in a stable straight line even if there are people walking on it, which greatly reduces the risk of collision caused by operating errors and makes the entire cargo flow process smoother.
In addition, a wireless camera is installed at the fork to assist the driver in storage, retrieval and stacking operations. The real-time image is clearly visible, and the large size of the cargo will not affect the forklift driver's stacking vision.
