Part two: Existing problems
● The customer had been using traditional floor-stacked warehousing with some of the racking areas vacant. With the growth of the business and the increasing tightness of the storage space, the customer wanted to make use of the unused storage space while preparing for the intensive warehousing goals of the new warehouse.
● The shelving area is manually stacked, which is not only inefficient and underutilized, but also poses considerable safety hazards.
● The warehouse is divided into raw material area and finished product area, which need to be docked to the production line, the traditional forklift handling process is cumbersome, the flexibility of vehicle maneuvering and running speed is insufficient, the internal logistics operation cycle is longer, and the delivery of the order is slightly strenuous.
